Helikon Media Selected to Create Brand Marketing Plan for
Intellectual Capital Partnership Program of Georgia
(September 7, 2001) Atlanta-based
Helikon Media has been selected to develop a brand communications
program for Georgia’s unique Intellectual Capital Partnership
Program (ICAPP). An initiative of the Board of Regents
of Georgia’s University System, ICAPP is a ground-breaking
program that links the intellectual resources of the statewide
university system with current and prospective Georgia
companies that need specific educational programs for
knowledge workers.
ICAPP has proven to be a highly valuable
asset in Georgia’s economic development and corporate
recruitment program. No other state has a comparable
program for the education of knowledge workers for specific
industries.
“We knew that to maintain our intellectual
capital lead in this highly competitive economic development
environment, we needed to tell our story more effectively,”
said Annie Hunt Burriss, President of ICAPP, “Helikon
Media impressed us with their proposal and insights for
a world-class brand communications program.”
Helikon Media’s two managing principals,
Terrence Burns and George Hirthler have years of experience
in multi-industry brand marketing assignments, including
governmental, sport, commercial, and academic assignments.
“ICAPP provides a valuable service to the communities
all around our state and allows us the opportunity to
work on programs that can actually change people’s lives,”
said Hirthler, “we are thrilled and honored to work on
this imaginative and cutting-edge program.”
